The card template #17 has such versatility!
I did use it in only one direction. Let me know if you try it landscape or turned around. I hope you have fun trying this template with Designer Series or various coloured Papers, or white on white. Be creative!
I have used card bases measuring 5 ½” X 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” for each of my examples.
Adding a 4″ X 5 ¼” basic white card stock piece on the inside of your card if the card base is a darker colour would make it easier to write a greeting and you could stamp something inside as well.
Are you ready to create with me?

Card Example #1: You are so Appreciated – All Aflutter
We can never have enough Butterfly stamps, dies or punches. This All Aflutter bundle is a stamp set and punch that creates three butterflies in two designs. You can stamp a filler colour over them, or colour them with blends and blend colour on them with blending brushes. Lots of possibility. One of the sentiments is “fluttering by to say hi”. A great greeting to brighten anyone’s day. I chose to use the “you are so appreciated” sentiment for the card example and I think it fits perfectly.

The card base is Peaceful Pine Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼). I cut two pieces of DSP from the Bloom Boutique 12X12 Specialty paper (1 – 4 X 2 and 1 – ⅞ X 1 ⅞) and one piece from the new 2026-2028 Gingham Gallery 12X12 DSP in the Crisp Cantaloupe colour (1 – 3 X 1 ⅞). I cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock (4 X 1) and stamped the sentiment “You are so appreciated” with Secret Sea ink.
I put the DSP and White cardstock together in the order I wanted them and stamped the dotted line from the plaid to the sentiment and the sentiment to the top flower DSP and then one from the left side. I used Memento Black Ink. These pieces were adhered to the Peaceful Pine Card base with Multipurpose Glue leaving a gap around each piece of about ⅛ of an inch.
I stamped the butterflies with Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock and used the Crisp Cantaloupe ink to fill in the butterflies with the solid stamp. I added wink of stella to the butterflies to give a little sparkle.
Hint: for the new ink pads it’s suggested to stamp them with a pad or a cushion of paper to get a better impression. We are learning to work with the new ink pads. They are so easy to open and close!
The butterflies were added to the card at the appropriate spots for the stamped lines with dimensionals. I added three Golden Glow Dots from the 2026-2028 In Color Dots.
This is a cheery card and would brighten anyone’s day, don’t you think?
Card Example #2: Happy Birthday To You – Framed Violets
Violet Dreams Suite is a new Online Exclusive suite released in July 2026. It has Stamp and Die set (also available in a bundle), DSP, Adhesive-backed Blooms in white, pink and violet, Fresh Freesia Satin Ribbon, and Shimmery Stripes Specialty Paper. As always the products coordinate so amazing together. If you like violets you will love this suite.

For this card I chose to use Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the cardbase (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼). I used four different DSP designs from the Violet Dreams DSP. They were cut as follows:
- 1 – 4 X 2 Diamond Pattern with small violets
- 1 – 4 X 1 Peaceful Pine with white diamonds
- 1 – 3 X 1 ⅞ Gorgeous Grape violets
- 1 – ⅞ X 1 ⅞ Blue diagonal stripes
These pieces were attached to the cardbase with Multipurpose glue leaving a ⅛” gap around the pieces.
There are two die cut sheets in the DSP with flowers and labels. I chose the white label with Secret Sea dots and edging to stamp the Happy Birthday to You sentiment in the middle with Secret Sea Ink.
I stamped the violet flowers onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento Black ink. I used blends to colour the flower and leaves using Highland Heather and Peaceful Pine. The flower and label where attached to the card with dimensionals.
The finishing touch was three lovely Adhesive-backed Blooms in violet and white. Adding a piece of Basic White Cardstock to the inside of the card measuring 4 X 5 ¼ would make it easier to write a message to the recipient.
Purple is one of my favourite colours and I love how this turned out. It showcased the DSP and the stamped image so well. Is there anything you would change about it?
Card Example #3: The Best is Yet to Come – Garden Gatherings
I wanted to try white on white for this card and also to use an embossing folder. The Garden Gatherings is a lone bundle and doesn’t have any coordinating DSP, but that is totally okay with me! There is so much you can do with this stamp set and the dies.

This card starts with Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼). I also cut a piece of White cardstock 4 X 5 ¼ and ran it through the embossing machine with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder. I then cut it to 4 X 2, 4 X 1, 3 X 1 ⅞, and ⅞ X 1 ⅞. I used Multipurpose Glue to adhere it to the card front leave the ⅛” gap between the pieces. It gives a cool effect.
On a piece of scrap Basic White cardstock, I stamped the two vases in Cajun Craze for the outline, added the water with Balmy Blue and stamped the stems from the flowers in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green. I stamped the two different flower stems in the same greens. The flowers I stamped in Melon Mambo and Berry Burst. These were all cut with the corresponding dies. And also one of the leaf dies in Peaceful Pine cardstock. I assembled the flowers and vases together and lined up the stems. These were adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Glue.
The sentiment “the best is yet to come” was stamped on a piece of Basic White cardstock with Secret Sea and I used a die from the Nested Essentials making it longer to fit. A fun trick! This was adhered to the top right of the card with Dimensionals. I added three Antique Pearls to complete the card.
This card turned out better than I envisioned in my mind. I am so glad that I tried White on White! It would probably look well with our new Barely Blush on Barely Blush cardstock….hmmm, might need to give that a try soon!
