Here we are with card template #15! This template can be created portrait or landscape and the sentiment placed where it best fits in relation to the other three focal points.
One of the focal spots of the card template could be a sentiment, possibly. Two of my samples are portrait and the last one is landscape. I stayed with the same colors for each card. May this inspire you to pull out some of your products and start creating!
I have used Basic White thick cardstock measuring 5 ½” X 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” for each of my examples. Coloured cardstock can be used for the card bases, if you wish. Consider the designer series paper or other colours of cardstock you might use and choose accordingly.

Card Example #1: There is Beauty in your history – Inspiring Imperfections
I recall when I first saw this beautiful Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection in the annual catalogue, it definitely went on my wish list. I have had fun making other cards with it and being inspired by creations of others too. It is still available as a suite, bundle, and stamp set or dies separately. Let’s take a look at how I used it with card template #15.

The card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼). I stamped the cardbase with Petal Pink ink using the flower stamp and covered the edges turning the stamp different directions. On top of this, I glued a piece of the Kintsugi Inspirations 12X12 DSP, white with gold, measuring 2 X 5 ¼ to the centre of the card.
I punched three circles (2 ¼”), one each, in Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Old Olive (I did this for each of the cards). I adhered with glue the punched circles (2”) in Basic White cardstock onto these coloured circles.
On scrap Basic White cardstock, I stamped with Memento Black ink the small flower pot three times and coloured them with blends in Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Old Olive. I added these to the circles with dimensionals in the centre of each circle. I arranged them on the card as you can see in the photo. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Inspiring Imperfections, and I think a very encouraging thing to say to someone: “There is beauty in your history”.
There is a special label in the die set I used to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Black ink and adhered to the card using dimensionals. The final touch were three Flower Accent gems placed around the card. Place odd number of gems on your projects and in a triangle. This is most pleasing to the eye.
Card Example #2: Thank you – Trusty Tools
This Trusty Tools stamp and die set are fun for anyone that loves to make things. I really love the Thank You sentiment, a beautiful script!

My cardbase is Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼). It’s also portrait designed.
I used the DSP that was part of this set and it has little hammers in crushed curry and then screw tops in gray granite. The Crushed Curry piece I cut 1 ⅞ X 5 ½ and the Gray Granite piece 1 X 5 ½ and glued them to the card front more toward the left side of the card.
I punched three circles (2 ¼”), one each, in Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Old Olive. I adhered with glue the punched circles (2”) in Basic White cardstock onto these coloured circles. These were also glued on the card.
I stamped the paintbrush outline stamp in Pecan pie on scraps of Basic White cardstock and then used Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Old Olive ink stamping off the ink once for the brush handle to give a softer color. For the paint on the brush ends I used the same ink but at full strength. I used the die cut for the paintbrush to cut them out. The paintbrushes were adhered with dimensionals to their matching circle mats on the card.
The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black, die cut with the smallest Textured Notes (on Last Chance) and adhered to the top left of the card at a slight angle with dimensionals. A fun card!
Card Example #3: It’s Your Day! – Coneflower Celebrations
The Coneflower Celebrations stamp set has so many great sayings! I need to remember them more often! There is a Happy Belated Birthday that can be used as a Happy Birthday by putting tape on the Belated and then inking your stamp. And you then have Happy Birthday! Two for the price of one!!

I also love these two sentiments “I’m sorry I missed your special day…let’s extend the celebration!” and “I love that I’ve known you for so many birthdays!”
I wanted to showcase the butterfly on my third card sample and had fun colouring three of them with blends in Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Old Olive. I fuzzy cut them, as I could not find my dies when I needed them. Has that ever happened to you?
Starting with a Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼), I attached the two pieces of DSP from Beautiful Bokeh 6X6 DSP using Multipurpose glue. The Daffodil Delight piece measures 5 ¼ X 2 ½ and the Bokeh Blue piece measures 5 ¼ X 1. I put them more towards the top of the card in landscape to look like sky. I used a piece of discontinued ribbon at the point where the DSP intersected. It just needed something there!
I punched three circles (2 ¼”), one each, in Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Old Olive. I punched circles (2”) in Basic White cardstock and stamped them in Old Olive ink with one of the leaves from the stamp set. The white circles were then glued to the coloured circles. Using dimensionals they were attached to the card base. The butterflies were then arranged on the leaves with dimensionals.
I wanted to use “It’s Your Day!” Sentiment and stamped it on a scrap piece of Basic White in Memento ink and then die cut it using the smallest of the Everyday Arches dies. These are really great dies! I used Sparkle Dot Essentials gems to finish off this card as all the colours went perfectly. Sadly, they are no longer available for purchase. I will enjoy using them as long as they last…
