The new Stampin’ Up Annual Catalogue is out featuring the In Colors for 2024-2026!
Are you ready for some summer colors? Do you have a favorite?
It’s exciting to be in the month of May with a new Annual Catalogue featuring amazing In Colors for 2024-2026. They work well together and also with many others in our color families. There is another surprise with a Beige color added to the basics with cardstock and ink pad. Check out how I used this in my project.
Handmade Card Using Trusty Tools Stamps and 2024-2026 In Colors
Are you ready to see my card and what I create?
For the card base I used Basic White Thick Cardstock (#159229) measuring 5 ½ X 8 ½ and scored at 4 ¼.
I cut a matting layer of Basic Beige Cardstock (#164511) 5 ½ X 4 ¼. I chose two patterns of four of the In Color DSP (#163777) cutting 2 at 1 ¾ square and 2 at 1 ¾ X 3 ¼. I adhered this onto the Basic Beige Mat piece leaving a border around the edges and down the middle. I then put this through the Painted Texture EF (#154317) and adhered this right to the edges of the white card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).
Using a piece of Basic White Cardstock (#159276) scrap I stamped the paintbrush from Trusty Tools stamp set (#163274) using Memento Black Ink (#132708) and filling in the handle with the Basic Beige Ink Pad (#163806) and the tip of the brush with Summer Splash Ink (#163809). I did this twice. The paint brushes were die cut using the Trusty Tools Dies (#162722). The sentiment was from Trusty Tools stamp set (#163274) “you’re the most AWESOME” stamped in Summer Splash Ink (#163809) on Basic Beige Cardstock (#164511). This was die cut along with a frame from the Unbounded Love Dies (#163383). An amazing set of dies with great possibilities that also pair with Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378). I believe these are a must have and all the dies would fit through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (#150673).
To finish the card, I adhered the frame and the sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). Remember a little goes a long way! I added the paint brushes with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) layering them over the sentiment die cut and each other. The final touch were three colors from 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots (#163389) around the sentiment.
A fun card layout and suitable for anyone you want to bring some cheer to their day and affirm them for who they are created to be.
