Two bright and cheery cards using Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean Blooms Suite Collection
What’s your favorite summer fruit? Is it best fresh or frozen or canned? Memories growing up in the
Okanagan of picking fresh peaches come to mind for me when as a child the juice would touch both
cheeks and run down your neck as they were so big, sweet and juicy. Another memory is walking out the
kitchen door and picking cherries for dessert following supper.
After much though, I chose the Citrus Blooms set to share with you. I love the fruit stamps, the beautiful dies and the amazing designer series paper. It reminds me of a new planner I am starting in July. The blue sides of the papers and the smaller stamps will be great to help add some accents to my planner!
I made two cards this month with this bundle and couldn’t decide which one to share, so I chose to present both to you! I love the end results.
A Hello Summer Fruits handmade card using Mediterranean Blooms Suite Collection
For the first card, I used Basic White Thick Cardstock (#159229) measuring 5 ½ X 8 ½ and scored at 4 ¼ for the card base. I cut Copper Clay cardstock (#161721) to 4 1/8 X 5 3/8 and ran it through the Embossing Folder Exposed Brick 3D (#161600). I glued this to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).
Using the Granny Apple Green cardstock (#146990) cut at 4 ¼ X 5 ½ along with the leaves and frame die cuts from the Citrus Blooms dies (#163294), I cut the lovely leaf accent. The frame die can be used on its own to create a lovely panel. The leaves can also be used without the frame and applied to a card or cut apart for embellishing fruit or flowers. There are lots of options for this die set.
I stamped the fruit bunch on Basic White Cardstock (#159276) with Basic Beige Ink (#163806) and colored with Stampin’ Blends Peach Pie (#163827), Pumpkin Pie (#154897), Copper Clay (#161662), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Lemon Lime Twist (#161682), and Granny Apple Green (#154885). A relaxing piece to color. This was cut out with the matching die cut from Citrus Blooms dies (#163294) and placed on top of the leaf cut out near the top of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
I used the “hello” sentiment stamping on Basic White Cardstock (#159276) scrap in Copper Clay Ink (#161647). I then cut it with a small die from the Perennial Postage Dies (#162607) gluing the left side to an orange (or is it a peach?) and a dimensional on the right side to pop it up with the fruit. I completed the card with three Copper Clay dots from a pack of 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots (#163782).

The second card was inspired by the amazing Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper (#163284). I cut a piece 1 ½ X 5 ½ of the yellow flowers, a piece of the blue with white flowers at 3 X 5 ½ and layered them on a card base of Basic White Thick Cardstock (#159229) measuring 5 ½ X 8 ½ and scored at 4 ¼. I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I die cut out the bunch of oranges piece from the DSP using the coordinating die cut. I also die cut the bunch of leaves from Granny Apple Green cardstock (#146990) and adhered it to the blue dsp topping it with the oranges.
The sentiment, all with love, was stamped in Night of Navy Ink (#147110) on a scrap of Basic White Cardstock (#159276) and die cut with a label from Unbounded Love Dies (#163383). This was adhered to the bottom right of the card. The finishing touch on this card were three peach pie gems from 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems (#163781) to give a little sparkle.
It was fun to create these cards. It is a great set of products. Bright and cheery with many options for crafting.
