Card Template #9: Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection and Natural Botanicals

These cards using Card Template #9 showcase coordinating Designer Series Paper, the focal point and the matting with pops of color.

This card template can be used for any occasion and a variety of stamp sets. Have a play!

Card template #9 measurements

For each of the cards, I used a Basic White thick card stock measuring 5 ½” X 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”. This seems to work well with this design.

Card Example #1: Hello…You’ve been on my mind – Beautiful Gallery Suite

Hello, you've been on my mind card using Beautiful Gallery suite from Stampin' Up!

The card base is Basic White Cardstock (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” ). The DSP I chose is from Botanical Textures and the black ‘n white let’s the other colors shine.

The cardstock for the matting is in Pretty Peacock and also the leaf die cut from Beautiful Motifs Dies.

The sentiments were also stamped in Pretty Peacock ink. I used Berry Burst cardstock for the strip about 1 ½” from the top of the card that measures 1 ½” X 4 ⅛” .

The sentiments “Hello” and “You’ve been on my mind” were stamps on scraps of Basic White and cut out. The “You’ve been on my mind” was also matted with Berry Burst cardstock. The sentiments are from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set which covers many different reasons to send a card.

The 2 ½” square piece of Basic White is matted on the Pretty Peacock and popped up with dimensionals. The leaf die cut is glued and overlaps the squares.

I finished the card with five gems from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Secret Sea.

Pretty Peacock goes so well with black and white and the Berry Burst. I really like how this card turned out! What do you think?

Card Example #2: Celebrate – Gallery Blooms

Celebrate card using Gallery Blooms stamp set from Stampin' Up!

With this card, I started with the 2 ½” square of Basic White and stamped the double flower from Gallery Blooms with Memento Black ink. I colored it in with Stampin’ Blends in Peach Pie and Pumpkin Pie for the flowers and the leaves I used Lost Lagoon. I used the Crumb Cake Blend to splatter a few dots over the flowers. I love these colors together!

From the Beautiful Motifs I cut out one of the leaf designs and removed it totally from the cardstock. It can be used as an accent piece being left intact. It is easy to cut it out and then you can use it in a different way! I used a piece of Pretty Peacock to die cut this.

The flower piece (2 ½” square) I matted on Peach Pie cardstock and the DSP is from the Beautiful Gallery 6X6 in Lost Lagoon with motifs on them and this is matted also on Peach Pie cardstock. This is laid on top of a strip of Timid Tiger Cardstock.

I stamped “Celebrate” in Pretty Peacock ink on a scrap of Basic White and trimmed the right-hand side at an angle. I matted it on top of a scrap of Basic Beige cardstock.

A double linen thread bow was added on one of the motifs and three Timid Tiger gems from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls was added to the card.

The card base for this lovely card is also Basic White Cardstock (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” ). This would make a special wedding card, I think. What could you use this one for?

Card Example #3: Thank you for everything – Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection & Natural Botanicals

Thank you for everything card using Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection from Stampin' Up!

The August card example also featured some products from this Beautiful Gallery suite collection. There are so many ways to make amazing cards with these products.

With this month’s card I also included the Neutrals 6X6 DSP from the Annual catalogue (see page 121). There are four different designs in each color, in all the color families plus the In Colors. I chose the Pecan Pie paper and ran it through the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder. This gives a bit of texture to the card. I matted these pieces onto Darling Duckling cardstock.

On the 2 ½” square of Basic White, I stamped with the Natural Botanicals in Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze and Granny Apple Green ink. This is a unique stamp in that you flip the stamp (once it’s cleaned) and can use it to fill in color if you don’t want to color in the line design. Using a blending brush I gently covered the total piece with Peach Pie ink. This was then matted onto Darling Duckling cardstock.

I cut out leaves from the Gallery Blooms dies in Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry cardstock scraps. The sentiment “Thank you for everything” from Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White scraps and then attached to the card.

The 1 ½” X 4 ⅛” strip is from Cajun Craze cardstock and sets off all the colors beautifully. The finishing touch was Darling Duckling gems from 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls. These pearls are a favorite!

Have you ever noticed how many Stampin’ Up colors are named after pie?
