A simple card template that you can keep simple or dress up with many of Stampin’ Up! suite collections.
If you need a fast but impressive card this summer, I believe this is a good place to start. This card template is made up of a card base, a piece of DSP (Designer Series Paper) or cardstock at the bottom and then a piece of paper or die cut in the middle of the card popped up on dimensionals.
There are so many possibilities with this template.

For each of the cards, I used a Basic White thick card stock measuring 5 ½” X 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”. Let’s take a look at what I did next to each one. I hope you enjoy these cards!
Card Example #1: You Inspire Me with the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection
The card base is Basic White Cardstock (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”). I stamped the top two-thirds of the card with the small flowers from the Inspiring Imperfections Stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink.
I cut a piece of the DSP from Kintsugi Inspirations 12″ X 12″ DSP with the small Misty Moonlight flowers, measuring 2″ X 4″ and glued it to the bottom of the card base leaving a border around the three sides. I used a die from Textured Notes measuring 2 ¾” X 4 ¼” with Basic Beige Cardstock. I used the die cuts from Inspiring Imperfections Dies to cut out a vase, bowl and flower from the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. You can also fuzzy cut out these elements.
I positioned the three pieces on the Basic Beige die cut with glue and dimensionals and then stamped “You Inspire Me” to the right of the vase in Secret Sea Ink from the Inspiring Imperfections Stamp set. This was then centered in the middle of the card and adhered with dimensionals.
The final touch is Flower Accents gems at the bottom right corner, one large and one small.
Can you think of someone to share this card with? The sentiment can be changed up to whatever you want to say!
Card Example #2: Thinking of You with Painterly Pears Suite Collection
The great colors in the DSP and the amazing Die cuts really caught my attention with this Painterly Pears suite. You can cut out the pears in some of the DSP with the Die cuts. The little flowers, branch and hashtag die are great additions to my collection of dies!
This card is also a Basic White cardstock base (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”). I cut out two of the Hashtag die cuts in Darling Duckling. I used one as a stencil and with a blending brush and Darling Duckling ink I created the design around the edge of the top two thirds of the card.
I cut out pears and flowers from the DSP. I adhered with glue a piece of DSP measuring 2″ X 4″ to the bottom of the card base leaving a border around the bottom and sides.
I cut the Darling Duckling DSP to 2 ¾” X 4 ¼” and with dimensionals added it to the centre of the card. (The DSP was all from the Painterly Pears 12″ X 12″ pack. Great options to choose from!)
I then added the pears and flowers. I stamped the “Thinking of You” from The Right Words stamp set and cut it out with smallest die from Textured Notes.
With a bit of glue at the bottom of the sentiment I added the 2nd Hashtag cut out of Darling Duckling and then adhered this to the bottom right of the Darling Duckling DSP. I added three large Darling Duckling 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.
This is a bright summer card!
Card Example #3: Wishing You Love with the Peaceful Garden Suite Collection
This set of Peaceful Garden Suite products is versatile to use for different seasons and occasions. The card I created could be used for an engagement, wedding, or anniversary. It was fun to see it come together with the different elements.

The card base of Basic White (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”) makes this a great backdrop for the papers to shine. The Peaceful Garden DSP is a lovely collection of blue leaves with little white flowers and was cut to 2″ X 4″.
A strip of the blue from Peaceful Garden Glimmer paper was cut at ½” X 4″ and adhered to peek out from the top of the DSP and then adhered to the bottom of the card base with a border around the sides and bottom. I die cut the two doves and envelopes from Basic White with Peace on Earth Dies and also cut a circle and label from Basic White with Stylish Shapes Dies. I also cut a label from Stylish Shapes Dies in Misty Moonlight and the leaves from the Peace on Earth Dies. Using the Cloud Cover cardstock, I cut out the largest label from Peace on Earth dies.
Once all the pieces were cut, I then used dimensionals to put the Cloud Cover Label on the lefthand side of the card. I glued the doves and envelopes on top of the label. They are so cute! And then I glued down the leaves under the label. I stamped the greeting “Wishing You” on the White label and “Love” on the circle using the Secret Sea Ink.
I looped the Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged Ribbon and taped it to the circle making sure it would fit on the card without going too much over the edges. I glued this down to the DSP at the bottom right of the card. And then positioned the “Wishing You” above this using a dimensional on the right side and glue on the left. I added three of the cloud cover Hues of Blue Flowers.
There’s just enough sparkle in this card and clean white images to make the blues pop.

It’s really a quick one and can become elaborate depending on what you need or how creative you are feeling! This was a fun card set to make.
