Create a handmade card for a variety of different occasions using variety of card template #3.

Celebrations are happening to wish loved ones a Happy Birthday or Anniversary. Or to welcome a new baby to the family. And what about celebrating the start of a new season in life! Sometimes we want to send a thank you card for a friend’s generosity or to just say Hello! This Card Template 3 can be used for many different occasions.

Card Template 3

Card #1: What A Joyous Occassion

For this card I used Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper (DSP) and chose the Soft Seafoam piece cutting it at 5 ½ X 4 ¼ and adhering it to the Basic White Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½ and scored at 4 ¼) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

From the die cuts in the Wildflower Birthday DSP, I chose three cupcakes. I attached them with dimensionals to the centre of the card spacing them out in a vertical line. I chose “What a Joyous Occasion” from the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera pack and glued it underneath the cupcakes.

On the inside of the card, I stamped Happy Birthday from Birthday Celebrations stamp set in Old Olive ink. I glued a pink balloon from the Wildflower Birthday die cuts DSP to the right of the inside sentiment. A bright, fun card!

Card #2: Bunches of Thanks

There is some lovely Floral & Gingham Vellum which has a gingham design and was perfect for this card. I cut it to 5 ½” X 4 ¼”. I cut out two different Spotlight on Nature dies, two smaller and one a bit larger out of Lemon Lolly cardstock that the flowers I chose from the Fully Flowering Mix & Match Ephemera pack would fit nicely on. I glued the flowers to the cut out die pieces and then arranged them on the Vellum.

I glued them onto the Vellum and then applied glue just behind the flowers to adhere the Vellum piece to the Card base (8 ½” X 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”). I cut a rectangle of Lemon Lolly card stock to fit under the Bunches of Thanks sentiment from the Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and attached this to the bottom of the card (in the centre) with Dimensionals.

I added three Purple Adhesive backed sequins (from Sale-a-bration) and two Tiny Bee Trinkets. I added a glue dot behind some of these embellishments to keep the Vellum attached to the card in a couple places. I left the inside blank.

Card #3: For the Books

I started with a Basic White Card stock base (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”). I chose a Moody Mauve piece of DSP from the Timeless Plaid DSP and cut it to 5 ½” X 4 ¼” and adhered it to the card base.

I punched out three To the Point Label pieces in Basic White cardstock. I stamped books in memento ink from For the Books stamp set on two of the labels. I also stamped in Moody Mauve the flower border from Bright Borders stamp set. I colored the books in with Blends in various colors. I also die cut the book in Moody Mauve and the bottom piece of the book in Basic White from the For the Books Dies.

The ‘story of us’ was stamped using Moody Mauve ink. This piece, I used dimensionals to adhere it to the blank label. The three labels were glued to the center of the card over the Moody Mauve DSP, overlapping each other. Using linen thread to make some loops and adhering this to the bottom right had side of the card and then put the sentiment stamped with Simply Said “Let’s Celebrate” in Moody Mauve ink onto the Stylish Shapes Die using dimensionals.

I hope you can use this template to create some fun and cheery cards for whatever occasions you and your family/friends are celebrating this month. Whenever I look at the example cards, they make my heart happy! We have much to celebrate and be thankful for.
