This Card Template 13 can be made with scraps of Designer Series Paper (DSP) or with cardstock that is plain, stamped or embossed.
There is lots of potential for this sketch. I didn’t turn this one with my designs but it would be fun to try and see what can be created.
I have used Basic White thick cardstock measuring 5 ½” X 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” for each of my examples. Coloured cardstock can be used for the card bases, if you wish. Consider the designer series paper or other colours of cardstock you might use and choose accordingly. Each of the main pieces can be cardstock, designer series paper or even use an embossing folder to give some texture.

Card Example #1: Thinking of you…a lot – The Right Words
This first example I wanted to show off the DSP that was the Product of the Month for December 2025 (a new promotion with Stampin’ Up!) called True Blue Florals. Each month there will be a new Product of the Month and they will be available only as supplies last.

The card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 ½” X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”). I used three different patterns from DSP True Blue Florals and cut them as follows:
- 1 – 1 X 3 ½”
- 1 – 1 x 4″
- 1 – 2 ¾” X 4 ¾”
I layered these with Multipurpose glue onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock measuring 4 ¼ X 5 ½” and glued this to the White cardbase. I stamped the sentiments from The Right Words with Night of Navy ink on scraps of Basic White cardstock and then cut them out using the Stylish Shapes dies.
Pearls of Beauty White gems finished off the project. The sentiment can be changed for whatever occasion is needed as well as the Designer Series Paper. I love the simplicity of this card.
Card Example #2: Keeping you in my Thoughts – Prayers & Promises
This Prayers & Promises stamp set contains 11 stamps that have special sayings for various life situations in different fonts. The sayings can help especially when you want someone to know you are concerned for them and to bring comfort and peace into their lives. This is a stand alone product!

I paired this stamp set with the Hobby Haven DSP which has great front and back sides on the paper, plus some are great for fuzzy cutting. Raise your hand if you love to fuzzy cut! There are two sheets of die cuts as well that help to add embellishments to your projects. I used two different back sides of paper for the 1 X 3 ½” ans 1 x 4″ pieces. I cut the 2 ¾” X 4 ¾” using the Crumb Cake 12X12 Two-Tone Cardstock using the darker side.
I stamped on the Crumb Cake the sentiment “Keeping you in my Thoughts Holding you in my Heart Remembering you in my prayers” with Secret Sea Ink. I also stamped “Sending Love” on the inside of the card. The three pieces were all glued to the cardbase.
From the Foliage/Chair DSP I fuzzy cut out the chair and plants and glued them to the Crumb Cake cardstock keeping it near the bottom of the piece. I also added a 4 ¼ X ½” strip to the bottom of the inside, the same DSP as the 1″ X 4″ piece on the front.
I fuzzy cut three plants and glued them in the righthand bottom corner. The final touch on this card were three of the large Pearls of Beauty in Calypso Coral.
There is something relaxing about this card. I trust it would bring peace into someone’s heart.
Card Example #3: Wishing you all the Best – Friendly Foliage
For this last example I wanted a white on white look. I decided to use two embossing folders (EF) to give some texture but to also connect with the leaf stamp. I hope you like the look of this card. It could be used for many different celebrations in life.

Starting with a Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 ½ X 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”), I then attached the two pieces 1 X 3 ½” embossed with Gathering Leaved EF and 1 X 4″ embossed with Stone & Vine 3D EF using Multipurpose glue.
I cut the 2 ¾” X 4 ¾” piece in Basic White Cardstock. I used the large stamp from Friendly Foliage and stamped it in Mossy Meadow ink centered and ½” up from the bottom. This stamp set has great sayings, but I chose “Wishing you all the best” and stamped it also in Mossy Meadow ink in the top right hand corner.
I used the amazing die that fits inside the leaves and then I attached this piece to the cardbase with dimensionals (both sizes). This popped it up off the card. I added a leaf die cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock and lightly glued it just to the right of the sentiment. To add a bit of sparkle I used three Low-Profile Sparkle Dots in Mossy Meadow. There is an elegance to this card!
I trust this card template will give you some encouragement to start crafting this month!
