Card Template #19 is a great design for Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The new catalogue has some amazing paper packs. They are great for various occasions and the autumn season.

I used Basic White Card bases measuring 5 ½” X 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” for each of my examples. You could use coloured cardstock for your bases if you would like. Remember to add a 4 X 5¼ basic white card stock piece on the inside of your card if the card base is a darker colour. You can then easily write a greeting and/or stamp something inside.

I really love how these cards turned out and plan to make some more for people in our lives. The sentiments can be changed for whatever you need. I am sure you have some DSP in your stash of products that you could start creating right away.

Card Example 1 Hello – Elegant Leaves

The Elegant Leaves stamp set and dies are really amazing and versatile. I used only the “hello” sentiment for this card. I showcased the Autumn Opulence DSP and the Ephemera included. The beauty of autumn with the rich colours is beautiful in this set of DSP.

I chose three different DSPs for the 5” strips and layered them on a mat of Lost Lagoon Cardstock, leaving about 1/8” gap between the pieces. I cut two circles out of Very Vanilla Cardstock from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered the larger one to the card.

I cut around the pumpkins and the acorns to remove the white border. The pumpkins were attached with dimensionals to the centre of the circle. There are some round labels and I fit one into the smaller Very Vanilla circle and stamped the “hello” with Early Espresso ink.

I glued the acorns to the side and then adhered them on the bottom right with dimensionals. The Antique Pearls were perfect to finish off this card. I love how this card turned out and it would be a blessing to anyone receiving it.

Card Example 2 So Grateful for You – Tile Garden & Lily of the Valley

The Tile Garden Bundle is part of the Mosaic Garden Suite Collection. The colours are vibrant and cheery and some of my favorite. The stamp set reminds me of watercolour and is so fun to stamp with. Lots of leaves and flowers to choose from and combine. The three sentiments are also great ones.

I wanted however, to bring in the thought of gratefulness and I really love the fonts and sentiments from Lily of the Valley. The sentiment I used is “so grateful for you” and it’s a mix of script and block fonts. The Tile Garden Dies are squares in various sizes with three different edges. A great addition to my shapes!

For this card we chose three patterns of DSP from the Mosaic Garden pack. These were layered onto Pretty Peacock Cardstock. I stamped the flower with Old Olive and Crisp Cantaloupe ink on a piece of Basic White Cardstock. This was cut out with a rectangle die 1 ¾ X 3 ¼ and it was attached with dimensionals to a die cut piece measuring 2 ¼ X 3 ¾. I am sorry this set is no longer available, but you can just cut the pieces with your Stampin’ Up trimmer to size.

The flower was adhered to the left side with multipurpose glue and the sentiment was attached with dimensionals and glued on the bottom right side. I used three beautiful Garden Glossy Dots in Crisp Cantaloupe.

This card would be great for many different occasions. And the colours are so cheerful! Do you like the variations so far of this Template? Even though they are simple?

Card Example 3 Happy Birthday – Banner Sayings

The feature of this card is the DSP, Whispering Woods. It is 12” X 12” and there are 4 sheets each of 3 double-sided designs. The colours are blues and greens and a little of pecan pie! There are some sheets that work great for cards and others for scrapbooking. They all coordinate so well together. Oh, and for every pack of this paper that is purchased, $4 is donated to organizations to help spread a little holiday cheer.

There is a sheet of paper that has woodlands and wild animals on it. I die cut around the moose facing left and the piece is 2 ¼ X 3 ¾. I choose three different pattern designs for the 5” strips and arranged them in a different order. These were matted on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock. The moose piece was attached with dimensionals this time towards the right of the card. There was a white space on the top and this was perfect for the Happy Birthday (stamped with Night of Navy ink) from the Banner Sayings and punched with the Three Banner punch. I used multipurpose glue to adhere it above the moose. I added three White Shimmering Dots to the card. This pack of DSP could be used for Christmas cards, Thank you cards and as I did as a Birthday card.
